Pizza is solid old school pizza. I grew up eating Lenny's so I always make it point to have a slice when I am back in town. The owner is always friendly and pizzas come out quick. Decor is old but that's part of the charm.
Lenny's has been serving pizza in the same location for 80 years, what does that tell you? Authentic, delicious pizza, heroes and plates of pasta that keeps people coming back over and over. Generations of families have eaten at Lenny's, a tradition that is something special that's rarely seen anymore. What's remarkable is the prices are less expensive than any shop around and the food is better than any shop, the best combination when going to eat. The best slice I've had in all of Brooklyn is the Upside Down Square slice. The sauce is mouth watering, the cheese and dough so good it will change what pizza you eat moving forward. The shop is always clean and hospitable to one and all. There are 2 clean, working restrooms, all kinds of soda, water, iced tea and even beer. You can't go wrong heading to Lenny's for lunch or dinner.

The pizza is really good! Between a 4 and a 5, but the super friendly guys who work at/own the place tip it to a 5. Classic Brooklyn pizza place.
Closing because the father wants to retire. Good for him and his family, but we will all miss his pizza and great hospitality. The old school expression just can't be replaced.
Love this place so much I started working here! This place is a classic family owned business since 1954! Food is amazing and staff is great. Come ask for Anthony or Steve.
The plain slice was average but I liked the zingy sauce on the Grandma slice. The service is friendly, the hours are late and they have old-timey lowbrow grape drink and fruit punch.
